Naima first started sketching from photographs as a teenager which soon fizzled out as life developed. 

In 2012-13, Naima became a qualified Graphic Designer, reinvigorating her Creative side from a digital perspective, but this, too, became a historical feature. 

In 2020, Naima started a tea business, creating and combining various herbs, spices and florals into teabags, which then developed into tea scented candles. Eventually Naima started looking at resin projects and, whilst watching Facebook videos, inspired by Mixed Media Girl in particular, she saw resin projects that were unimaginable. Then she saw new projects from the same artist on Facebook which incorporated liquified acrylic paints on canvases, vases and other projects. This inspired Naima further to learn more of the techniques before giving it a first go in 2023. In 2024, Naima progressed into acrylic dot mandala work on greetings cards and canvases, then in 2025, Naima started fluid art painting on vases. Soon after, business plans were made to start demonstrating a portfolio of work, advertising events and fundraisers as well.
